To just say that the Kindle is a breakthrough device would be a massive understatement. Since its inception in 2007, reading has never been the same again, and it keeps getting better. Kindle 2 smoothened out the rough edges on the maiden Kindle and the Latest Generation Kindle completes the job by making it perfect. If Apple gave us iPod for MP3, then Amazon has given us Kindle for ebooks.
For the first time in the history of learning, leisure or work, it can actually be COOL to read. Whether it’s for yourself or the trees, you now have strong reasons to ditch the traditional form of reading: books, newspapers, magazines and all. If it can be read, it can be done on Kindle. There’s even the big-screen Kindle DX just for students but then, what’s to stop folks who simply fancy greater size? For those as yet uninitiated into the future of reading, let’s see what makes the Kindle rocks
